designed to be compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. |

Command Toolbar with
Double Power Set
two custom defaults for shapes, lines, and text
and yet have a footprint small enough to float the toolbar while you work.
This Toolbar is newly developed and includes a new feature that lets you
LEFT click or RIGHT click on the same icon.
Left click the
Shape Insert Tool icon to set Shape 1
to be a process shape and RIGHT click the same icon to set Shape 2 as a decision, then LEFT click
the icon for Shape1
or RIGHT click it to insert Shape2's default shape automatically!
Set Line 1 to be a diagonal line with arrowheads and Line 2 to be a squared
line without arrowheads.
Text A can be Arial 14 point bold and Text B Verdana 10 point red.
Use Quick Insert to place shapes, lines, and text faster
than ever. |
Tabbed
Manager Toolbars
When an object is selected (such as a shape that includes text)
the manager tray displays either the Text Manager or the Shape Manager
toolbar depending on "last used" mode. if you see the Shape Manager
but wanted the Text Manager - simply click on the proper tab (in this
example, click on the tab labeled "Text"). Tabs are not lit for object

save new charts as either Flow5 or FlowPDQ charts. This feature takes
away a serious contention of office upgrading.

Small
Movement of Selected Objects
Selected objects (objects are "selected" if they show handles)
can now be moved with the arrow keys. Movement is based on the chart
grid setting. With Coarse grid the increments of
1/8" (5 mm) and with Fine grid the movements are 1/16" (1 mm). You can move in increments
of 1 pixel by
holding down the [shift] + [ctrl] key while moving.

Text Jump Insert Keys
Brand new technology for moving between shapes while inserting
text. Our programmers have grabbed the old letter key arrow pads that
were standards on the first Apple computers - the i, j, k and m keys for the
directions Up, left, Right and Down. Now if you have just finished
typing text in your first shape - click the keyboard command [ctrl] [k] and
the cursor (still in text insert mode) will jump to the next text object (or
shape) to the RIGHT - and you just continue typing into the second shape.

ASV - AutoSave
This is an automatic feature of Flow
Charting 6. The program will save a temporary file on your hard disk
after each command sequence. If your system breaks down during a
session and before the editing or creation that you have done is saved -
this helps protect against loss of valuable data. |

Alignment Toolbar
Make your charts perfect for presentations! Align objects
vertically and horizontally. Equally space objects and make them the
same width, height, or both.

|
|
|
|
Two New Commands for Arrange Bar
Center to Page (vertical, horizontal) commands have
been added to put a professional touch to your charting.

|
|
Improved Chart Layout Features The
10 page x 10 page standard canvas layout has new abilities. You can
still select a canvas layout (up to 10 x 10) or now you can select Page
Streaming to the LEFT or DOWN. This allows you to display the pages in
a "stream" for better planning.

QuickInsert Command
On the Command toolbar, click the QuickInsert button to "on" and
the insert commands are locked on until you change modes or press the escape
key ([escape] key is the right mouse button). Any Object insert
command is now set to a constant ON status. In normal operations,
inserting two Shapes would entail clicking on the command Shape1 to insert
the first shape and then double clicking the mouse to reenter shape insert
mode - and finally clicking on the chart to insert the second shape.
Using QuickInsert mode - the program stays in the mode. Click on
Shape1 and every time you click on the chart - you insert a new shape (or
line, or text).
